Gone but not forgotten

We'll they're finally gone - it looks odd not seeing them there. But I think it will be in a month or so when I'm driving home and suddenly realise they are not there that it will hit me. Still I've got a 1000 or so postcards to remind me at the moment - but not for long - we are out and about distributing the last of the batch in the next few weeks. - 27/08/2008

Latest on the cooling towers
| |

I've just had a look around the internet to find out what's going on with the cooling towers. The latest idea is to replace them with a giant football. Crazy but true take a look here: Big football

Cooling Towers

The first postcard we're handing out is the 'Blackburn Towers' card featuring Sheffield's famous Tinsley Cooling Towers.
The owners Eon are planning to demolish them sometime soon whilst many Sheffield residence are fighting to save them. Read more about them and watch a couple of videos on the subject here: http://www.myspace.com

hmm the smell of fresh print

Well the post cards are back from the printers and mighty fine they look too. First impressions around the building have been good, in fact the whole no nonsense thing is going down well.
The idea behind the postcards was obviously to try and drum up a bit of local business and launch the new collection service. But I wanted to do something a bit different. We all try and make our website easy to use and free from any unnecessary distractions. Hence why we say there’s no nonsense.
So because a change is as good as a rest (and admittedly as an indulgence on my part) I came up with the idea of the nonsense illustrations to highlight the fact we don’t do nonsense.
